How to use the Windows 7 Snipping Tool

Check out this short description to see the variety of ways to use the tool.  This can be very useful when you want to share all or part of whatever you see on your computer screen.  It can be useful when you have an error or problem with your computer.  Simply snip the error message or other parts of the screen that show an issue and send to the IT people.

If see a website that has something you want to share, you don't have to send the link, just snip the information and send.

With the "freeform" option, you can do decorative snipping as well.  Snipping boring pictures with the freeform tool can give the picture a new look.
